NewDraw, Importing Large Graphics

When importing large graphics, such as scanned photos or documents, into NewDraw, the import will appear centered on the portion of the NewDraw document visible in the screen window, rather than on the document as a whole. That's probably not what you want.

To get the import to center on the full document page, select Scale To Fit as your view size (Scale To Fit in the View menu) before importing. The graphic will automatically center on your document, ready to print, colorize, resize, or whatever your imagination suggests.

NOTE: You may need to Customize the toolbars in NewDraw to display the Scale to Fit button. For help with this, see the tip Customizing Tool Bars in NewWrite or consult your manual.
